That’s right… another year of the wedding content creator! Tbh it’s safe to say we’re here to stay.

From starting my journey as a wedding content creator in 2023 to now entering 2026, I am so confident when I say wedding content creators have not only become a staple vendor in the industry, but we really have made a huge wave in the wedding world. And if I’m continuing to be honest (while everything comes with pros and cons) I do believe we have the ability to make a major impact *in the best way*

So welcome to 2026, and the first of many monthly (maybe weekly???) hype up’s to my fellow gals gals!

PS. Not a content creator? Don’t leave!
While I will probably talk a lot of wedding content… I’ll also share general content info, lifestyle favourites, entrepreneurship updates etc.

To look back and think about how I fought the wedding industry for so long. I even took event management as a post grad, and throughout the whole program I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do in the events world but would always say, ‘I know I’m not doing weddings’

LOL jokes on me, but I was a day-of-coordinator for 8 years, said I was going to stop that but I just kept finding my way into the wedding world. And then snowballed into offering wedding content, to building Hype Gal media, to going full time with it now!

So long story short, I’m glad the wedding industry kept calling!!

The best way to avoid burnout is to find your own unique content style!!

Remove the comparison or what you think you should be posting and do what comes natural to you, what you actually enjoy capturing. The fastest way to fall off is by trying to keep up and dupe something that’s been done. It’s not to say you cannot be inspired by someone else but putting your own twist into it will fuel you in the long run.

eeeew, if you’re still here ILYSM!! I’m sure this newsletter will evolve in format as I run with it (feedback welcomed as always) but I’m excited to chat with the gals who get it.
